Man Utd v Rangers FC at MurrayfieldFixture to take place on Saturday 20 July in Scottish capital

Manchester United and Rangers will face-off for the first time in over a decade, as the sides head to Scottish Gas Murrayfield this July.

Kick-off is at 1600hrs, and spectators are strongly encouraged to plan journeys well in advance to reach the stadium early to avoid queues and bottlenecks at the turnstiles.

There will also be diversions in the Murrayfield area which will impact those leaving the match.

If travelling by car from outwith the city, please consider using Park & Ride facilities.

Ingliston Park & Ride – Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium:

  • Service X12 will depart every 15 minutes between 13:30 and 15:30 (from Ingliston Park & Ride).
    After the match there will be frequent departures to Ingliston Park & Ride from Murrayfield Road until 19:35 
  • Service X22 will depart every 15 minutes between 13:38 and 15:23 (from Ingliston Park & Ride).
    After the match there will be frequent departures to Ingliston Park & Ride from Stevenson Road until 19:35.

Hermiston Park & Ride – Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium:

  • Service 25 to Gorgie Road (10-minute walk to the stadium) up to every 12 minutes.

Various roads around Murrayfield Stadium will be subject to closure between 1700 hrs and 2000 hrs approximately on Saturday 20 July. See below for diversion information, or visit our Service Updates page.

Service 12 (westbound) – between Morrison Link and Corstorphine Road, buses will be diverted via Morrison Street, West Maitland Street, Palmerston Place, Douglas Gardens, Belford Terrace, Belford Road, Ravelston Dykes and Murrayfield Road when heading westbound.

Service 12 (eastbound) – between Corstorphine Road and Morrison Link, buses will be diverted via Murrayfield Road, Ravelston Dykes, Belford Road, Belford Terrace, Douglas Gardens, Palmerston Place and Torphichen Place when heading eastbound.

Services 26, 31, 100 & X18 – between Princes Street and Corstorphine Road, buses will be diverted via Queensferry Street, Queensferry Road, Queensferry Terrace, Ravelston Dykes and Murrayfield Road in both directions.

Services 1 & 22 – between Balgreen Road and West Approach Road (22)/Fountainpark (1), buses will be diverted via Balgreen Road, Gorgie Road and Henderson Terrace in both directions.

Service 2 – between Balgreen Road and Dalry Road, buses will be diverted via Balgreen Road and Gorgie Road in both directions.

Services 30, X27 & X28 – between Saughton Gardens and West Approach Road, buses will be diverted via Balgreen Road, Gorgie Road and Henderson Terrace in both directions.

Cash fares are accepted on all our services. Please be aware that the exact fare is needed when paying with cash on our buses because our drivers cannot give change.

Concessionary

Under 22s and over 60s can travel for free provided they hold a valid Young Scot NEC/Scottish NEC.

For security reasons supporters are urged where possible not to bring bags to Scottish Gas Murrayfield. Bags larger than A4 size (21cm x 30cm) will not be permitted unless required for medical or childcare reasons. Bags A4 size or smaller will be searched prior to entry into the stadium.
