
Recently a group of Lothian Engineers took part in the ITRE (Institute of Road Transport Engineers) Skills Challenge in Bristol, showcasing their skills against strong competition from across the industry.
The IRTE Skills Challenge is a voluntary scheme, aimed at raising standards and encouraging self-regulation in road transport maintenance.
Lothian is delighted to report that one of our mature apprentices, Wojciech Hernik, won the Mechanical Apprentice award and finished runner up in the DSVA inspection Apprentice category.


Lothian’s Andrew Cairns finished runner up in the Body Work Technician category, highlighting a positive showing from the team representing the business in Bristol.
