Taylor Swift is bringing The Eras Tour to Scotland this summer with three sold-out performances at Scottish Gas Murrayfield on 7 – 9 June.
Usually home to Scottish Rugby, Murrayfield will be a sea of colour and sequins over three nights, with the shows set to break the record for Scotland’s biggest-selling stadium show.
Enjoy Taylor-made travel to the show with Lothian on our Special Services X12 and X22 providing links to Ingliston P&R/Ingliston Showground. We also offer connections with Hermiston P&R on Service 25, in addition to fast and frequent links to and from West Lothian, Edinburgh’s city centre, Midlothian and East Lothian.

Travelling by train to/from Edinburgh?
Swifties are being urged to plan ahead and allow additional time for travel. In addition to extra carriages on trains heading to the capital, there will be additional late-night services to get fans home after the concerts.
Additional late-night trains will operate from Edinburgh to Glasgow, Dundee, Dunblane, and Perth, with the last departure from Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen Street at 00.12 hrs.
ScotRail trains serving the capital will also be strengthened throughout the day, with additional carriages and seats on the afternoon trains throughout Fife and the Borders.
Customers are also reminded of engineering works on Sunday 9 June between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh via Shotts, where buses replace trains between West Calder and Glasgow Central, and journey times may take longer.
Lothian Buses and Edinburgh Trams provide links into the city centre, so please consider travelling onwards to Haymarket or Waverley Station with us if you need to travel by train after the concert.

Security
There will be searches on all ticket holders prior to entering the venue. Additionally:
- There will be a strict A4 bag policy (30cm x 21cm x 8cm) for the concerts and there will be 100% bag searches taking place prior to coming into the venue.
- Where possible it is recommended that ticket holders do not bring bags with them to ensure quick entry into the stadium.
- Any bags over A4 – unless brought in for childcare or medical purposes will not be permitted into the venue.
Bag Storage
There isn’t a bag drop facility at Scottish Gas Murrayfield.
Anyone who turns up to the venue with a bag larger than A4 will be sent to deposit their bag in one of the many bag drop facilities located across Edinburgh.
Cashless Stadium
There will be no cash withdrawal machines on-site, and the majority of merchandise vendors, bars and caterers will be card/contactless only.
For more useful information from Scottish Gas Murrayfield, visit their website.
It is anticipated that there will be a high volume of young fans attending the concerts. We’ve put together some top travel tips to help keep Swifties as prepared as possible.
- Make sure your phone is charged. Bring a power bank as back-up or charger cable to use on the bus to keep your device juiced up.
- Keep all belongings safe. If you are bringing a bag please bear in mind SG Murrayfield’s bag policy (see information above) and keep bank cards, keys and other personal items secured.
- Plan ahead! Check out bus service information above to plan your travel to and from the venue, bearing in mind there will likely be road diversions in place due to the volume of traffic in the area.
- Arrange a meeting place with friends in the event you get separated and look after one another!
- Stay hydrated! All that dancing will leave you thirsty so be sure you’ve had enough to eat and plenty of water both before, during and after the concert.
