Colleagues show support for Ukrainian-based charityCharity football fixture on Sunday 29 May

Members of Lothian’s Polish community are organising a charity football match to raise funds for a Ukrainian-based charity that provides care and support for seriously ill children and adults.

The charity – Pomogaem – is providing evacuation routes and humanitarian aid for those desperately in need of help in Ukraine, and Lothian colleagues with strong ties to the country wanted to do something to offer support during this time of crisis.

A charity football match will be held at Spartans Football Ground on Sunday 29 May, with Team Poland (comprising of some of our Polish colleagues from across the business) taking on Team Scotland (their Scottish counterparts). Kick-off is at 1300 and entry is £5 on the gate (free to under 16s). All are very welcome to attend.

Lothian would like to take this opportunity to wish the organisers and participants the very best of luck for the day!
