Scotland set to take on England in Guinness Six NationsTravel to and from the action at BT Murrayfield with Lothian

Scotland will kick off their campaign against England at BT Murrayfield this weekend (Saturday 5 February) in the 2022 Guinness Six Nations, defending the Calcutta Cup which they famously won at Twickenham for the first time since 1983 last year.

Kick-off is at 16:45 and there will be additional buses to and from the city centre to help those travelling to see the action in person.

Our Service X12 will be operating between Ingliston Park & Ride and BT Murrayfield stadium as follows:

  • From Ingliston Park & Ride – 13:40 then every 15 minutes until 16:10
  • From Murrayfield Road – frequent departures until an hour after the end of the game.

Normal fares apply on the X12 and all our buses accept contactless payments and daily/weekly capping applies under our TapTapCap scheme, so you’ll never pay more than you need to for your travel! If you’re travelling with others, you can also use contactless to purchase paper tickets. Read our contactless and TapTapCap FAQs.

Under 22s can travel for free provided they hold a valid Scottish NEC / Young Scot NEC. More information on this is available on our Under 22s Free Bus Travel story.

Download our mobile app to help plan your travel to the game (or for post-match celebrations, fingers crossed!). View service alerts, track buses and more, all from your smartphone.
