Virgin Money Fireworks Concert26 August 2019

This years Edinburgh International Festival closes on Monday 26 August with the popular Virgin Money Fireworks Concert in Princes Street Gardens.

With over 400,000 fireworks set alight from Edinburgh Castle, it’s one of the biggest fireworks concerts in the world!

Hear the Scottish Chamber Orchestra play favourites including Glinka’s Overture to Ruslan and Ludmila, Dukas’ The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Berlioz’ Ball, March to the Scaffold and Witches’ Sabbath from Symphonie fantastique.

There are various point across the city where you can have a great view of the fireworks and we have a bus to get you to them all.

The performance start at 2100 but make sure you arrive to your view point early to get a good spot.  Diversions will be in place in the City Centre before and after the concert so please check these before you travel.
