It’s October already….where has the year gone!
The weather may be getting colder and the leaves turning gold but there’s still plenty for you to see and do in Edinburgh.
Here’s our tips for getting on the buses and seeing this month
1. Calender Girls – Festival Theatre 2-13 October
The award winning musical, Calendar Girls by Gary Barlow and Tim Firth is is in Edinburgh this month. Based on the true story of the calendar girls – a group of ordinary ladies who achieved something extraordinary, this musical comedy is full of well known faces.

2. Scottish Interntional Storytelling Festival – 1 -31 October
Always a family favourite the Scottish International Storytelling Festival is two weeks of performances, workshops, talks and songs with a focus on traditional storytelling the festival.

3. Edinburgh Cocktail Week 15 – 21 October
Edinburgh Cocktail Week is back with a huge Cocktail Village at Festival Square and many of Edinburgh most well know bars taking part across the city including Tigerlily, Dragonfly, The Voodoo Rooms and Harvey Nichols.
Definitely not one to drive to….bus is best for this outing.

4. Hot Dub Stein Machine 13 October
The famous Hot Dub Time Machine will be performing his explosive, wildly popular, time-travelling DJ set with hits from throughout the history of music at Gosford House this month.
We’ve teamed up with the events organisers to run our Special Service X90 to and from the show.
5. Take a trip to the Edinburgh Zoo
It’s school holidays mid month so why not take a trip to the zoo on one of our new zoo design buses. So far we have a new Monkey and Lemur and there are still more to come….
