The safety of our staff and customers is very important to us at Lothian.

In July 2015 a joint initiative between Police Scotland and ourselves, created the role of a Police liaison officer to work jointly as part of a wider community safety and crime prevention drive across the city.

We also have a partnership agreement in place with to allow uniformed Police officers to travel on our buses while they are on duty.

This arrangement increases the level of visibility and accessibility that officers have on public transport and helps them get around the city, which in turn helps to make us all feel safe.

It also provides police officers with an excellent opportunity to engage with the local community and visitors to Edinburgh.

With the City being so busy at the moment its comforting to know we can feel safe while we travel.
