As you may recall, this summer we started the search for our first Charity of Choice.

We were overwhelmed by the response and many, worthy charities applied, which made the selection process very difficult.

Our Charity of Choice committee had the task of narrowing the applications down to a shortlist of six charities.  The initial application asked all about each charity: their objectives, the services they deliver and their ideas as to how they plan to engage with our staff and passengers.

As a next step we will meet with each charity on our shortlist and a final three will then be put forward to our staff who will decide by vote who they would like to support over the next two years.

We won’t publicise the initial shortlist but we would like to wish each of them the best of luck in the next stage.
