Travel to Fawkes Festival on Lothian’s Service 98Special service to 'rocket' you directly to all the action at the Royal Highland Centre

Prepare to be dazzled as Fawkes Festival arrives at the Royal Highland Centre on November 3. As official transport partner of Fawkes Festival, Lothian’s Service 98 will be standing by to ‘rocket’ you directly to all the action!

The event promises an immersive experience, featuring a breath-taking fireworks display alongside performances by the world-famous Scottish bagpipe band, The Red Hot Chilli Pipers, and the captivating street-theatre and LED drummers of Spark!  who magically transform the landscape with mysterious characters.

Enjoy an evening of feelgood family fun from fairground rides, a roaring bonfire, delicious food and drinks, a magnificent fireworks display and exciting live performances.

Lothian’s Service 98 will depart from George Street (stop GS, outside the Assembly Rooms), and will serve stop SD at Shandwick Place, stop HH at Haymarket Station, and all stops along the A8 between Haymarket and Maybury with a total journey time of approximately 30 minutes.

Please note this service operates as pick-up only on the way to the Royal Highland Centre and set-down only on the way to the city centre.

Passengers will be dropped off and picked up outside the north entrance of the Royal Highland Centre.

From George Street (Assembly Rooms): Departures every 12-15 minutes between 15:25 and 17:10.

From Royal Highland Centre: Frequent departures between 19:00 and 20:00.

Journey time from George Street – approximately 30 minutes.
