Due to the Women’s and Men’s 10K Edinburgh events taking place in the city on Sunday (22 October), a number of bus services will be diverted.
Affected services include Lothian’s Services 2, 9, 12, 22, 23, 27, 30, and 35; and Lothian Country’s Services X27 and X28.

Lothian Buses
Between 0830 hrs and 1245 hrs approximately:
Service 2 (northbound) – between Potterrow and Semple Street, buses will be diverted via Lauriston Place, West Tollcross and Ponton Street.
Service 2 (southbound) – between Morrison Street and Bristo Place, buses will be diverted via Earl Grey Street, Lauriston Place and Forrest Road.
Between 0900 hrs and 1300 hrs approximately:
Services 22 (in both directions) – From Princes Street, buses will be diverted via Shandwick Place, West Maitland St/Torphichen Street loop, Dalry Road and Gorgie Road. Service 22 will operate via Balgreen Road before rejoining its normal route at Balgreen School.
Between 0830 hrs and 1130 hrs approximately:
Service 23 (in both directions) – between North Hanover Street and Home Street, buses will be diverted via George Street, Frederick Street, Princes Street, Lothian Road and Earl Grey Street.
Between 0830 hrs and 1130 hrs approximately:
Service 27 (in both directions) – between North Hanover Street and Home Street, buses will be diverted via George Street, Frederick Street, Princes Street, Lothian Road and Earl Grey Street.
Between 0900 hrs and 1300 hrs approximately:

Service 35 (city centre in both directions) – between South Bridge and Easter Road, buses will divert via North Bridge, Waterloo Place and Regent Road.
Service 35 (Fountainbridge, westbound) – between Lauriston Place and Fountainbridge, buses will divert via Lauriston Place, West Tollcross and Ponton Street.
Lothian Country
Between 0900 hrs and 1300 hrs approximately:
Services X27 (in both directions) – between Princes Street and Gorgie Road at Balgreen, buses will be diverted via Shandwick Place, West Maitland St/Torphichen Street loop, Dalry Road and Gorgie Road.
Between 0900 hrs and 1300 hrs approximately:
Services X28 (both directions) – between Princes Street and Gorgie Road at Balgreen, buses will be diverted via Shandwick Place, West Maitland St/Torphichen Street loop, Dalry Road and Gorgie Road.
