Manchester United will play Olympique Lyonnais at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh on Wednesday 19 July, with kick off at 1400 hrs.

Having already announced a three-match trip to the USA as part of their warm-up programme, the match in the Scottish capital will be Man Utd’s only match in the UK prior to the 2023/24 Premier League season.

Ingliston Park & Ride – Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium

  • Service X12 will depart every 20 minutes between 1130 hrs and 1330 hrs.
  • Regular departures from BT Murrayfield Stadium to Ingliston Park & Ride after the game.

Hermiston Park & Ride – Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium

  • Service 25 to Gorgie Road (10-minute walk to the stadium) up to every 12 minutes.

Roads around Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium will be subject to disruption between approx. 1230 hrs and 1800 hrs on Wednesday 19 July.

This will affect Services 1, 2, 12, 22, 26, 30, 31, 100, X18, X27 and X28. Diversion information can be found below.

Corstorphine Road Corridor

Haymarket Terrace, West Coates and part of Corstorphine Road will be subject to possible closure between 1230 hrs and 1400 hrs (dependant on crowd numbers), then from 1500 hrs to 1800 hrs. When these closures are in place, services will operate on the following diversions.

  • Service 12 (westbound) – between Morrison Link and Corstorphine Road, buses will be diverted via Morrison Street, West Maitland Street, Palmerston Place, Douglas Gardens, Belford Terrace, Belford Road, Ravelston Dykes and Murrayfield Road when heading westbound.
    Service 12 (eastbound) – between Corstorphine Road and Morrison Link, buses will be diverted via Murrayfield Road, Ravelston Dykes, Belford Road, Belford Terrace, Douglas Gardens, Palmerston Place and Torphichen Place when heading eastbound.
  • Services 26, 31, 100 & X18 – between Princes Street and Corstorphine Road, buses will be diverted via Queensferry Street, Queensferry Road, Queensferry Terrace, Ravelston Dykes and Murrayfield Road in both directions.

Westfield Road Area

Stevenson Road and part of West Approach Road will be closed from 1500 hrs until 1800 hrs (approximately).

  • Services 1, 22 – between Balgreen Road and West Approach Road (22)/Fountainpark (1), buses will be diverted via Balgreen Road, Gorgie Road and Henderson Terrace in both directions.
  • Service 2 – between Balgreen Road and Dalry Road, buses will be diverted via Balgreen Road and Gorgie Road in both directions.
  • Services 30, X27 & X28 – between Saughton Gardens and West Approach Road, buses will be diverted via Balgreen Road, Gorgie Road and Henderson Terrace in both directions.

Concessionary

Under 22s and over 60s can travel for free provided they hold a valid Young Scot NEC/Scottish NEC.

For security reasons supporters are urged where possible not to bring bags to Scottish Gas Murrayfield. Bags larger than A4 size (21cm x 30cm) will not be permitted unless required for medical or childcare reasons. Bags A4 size or smaller will be searched prior to entry into the stadium.
