Beyoncé: Renaissance World Tour comes to EdinburghBT Murrayfield Stadium to host global superstar

Beyonce will be coming to Edinburgh on Saturday 20 May on the UK-leg of the Renaissance World Tour, and Lothian Buses is ready and waiting to take you to all the action.

Check out the information below for bus service details, fares and tickets, and other journey planning information.

From the city centre, the follow services are available:
To West Approach Road –Services 22, 30, X27, and X28.
To West Approach Road – Services 1, 2, 25 and 33.
To Corstorphine Road – Services 1226, 31, and X18.

From Edinburgh Airport:
To Corstorphine Road – Airlink 100.

From West Lothian:
To Corstorphine Road – Service X18.
To West Approach Road – Services X27 and X28.

Ingliston Park & Ride to BT Murrayfield Stadium
Service X12 will depart every 20 minutes between 1500 hrs and 1840 hrs, and there will be regular departures from BT Murrayfield Stadium to Ingliston Park & Ride after the concert.

Hermiston Park & Ride to BT Murrayfield Stadium:
Service 25 to West Approach Road (10-minute walk to the stadium) up to every 12 minutes.

Road closures will be in place before and after the concert affecting the A8, Roseburn area and West Approach Road (see below). Please note that the road closure timings are all approximate and may be subject to change at short notice. We would urge all customers to keep referring to our Service Updates page for the latest information on affected services.

Haymarket & Corstorphine
Between approximately 1400 hrs and 2000 hrs

Service 12 (both directions) – between Morrison Link and Corstorphine Road, buses will be diverted via Morrison Street, West Maitland Street, Palmerston Place, Douglas Gardens, Belford Terrace, Belford Road, Ravelston Dykes and Murrayfield Road.

Services 26 & 31 (both directions) – between Princes Street and Corstorphine Road, buses will be diverted via Queensferry Street, Queensferry Road, Queensferry Terrace, Ravelston Dykes and Murrayfield Road.

Airlink 100 (both directions) – between Princes Street and Corstorphine Road, buses will be diverted via Queensferry Street, Queensferry Road, Queensferry Terrace, Ravelston Dykes and Murrayfield Road.

Service X18 (both directions) – between Princes Street and Corstorphine Road, buses will be diverted via Queensferry Street, Queensferry Road, Queensferry Terrace, Ravelston Dykes and Murrayfield Road.

Between 2115 hrs and 0030 hrs

Service 12 (westbound) – between Morrison Link and Corstorphine Road, buses will be diverted via Morrison Street, West Maitland Street, Palmerston Place, Douglas Gardens, Belford Terrace, Belford Road, Ravelston Dykes and Murrayfield Road.

Service 12 (eastbound) – between Corstorphine Road and Morrison Link, buses will be diverted via Murrayfield Road, Ravelston Dykes, Belford Road, Belford Terrace, Douglas Gardens, Palmerston Place and Torphichen Place.

Services 26 & 31 (both directions) – between Princes Street and Corstorphine Road, buses will be diverted via Queensferry Street, Queensferry Road, Queensferry Terrace, Ravelston Dykes and Murrayfield Road.

Airlink 100 (both directions) – between Princes Street and Corstorphine Road, buses will be diverted via Queensferry Street, Queensferry Road, Queensferry Terrace, Ravelston Dykes and Murrayfield Road.

Service X18 (both directions) – between Princes Street and Corstorphine Road, buses will be diverted via Queensferry Street, Queensferry Road, Queensferry Terrace, Ravelston Dykes and Murrayfield Road.

Westfield & Stevenson Road
Between 2115 hrs and 2359 hrs

Services 1 & 2 (both directions) – between Balgreen Road and Gorgie Road, buses will be diverted via Balgreen Road and Gorgie Road.

Service 22 (both directions) – between Balgreen Road and West Approach Road, buses will be diverted via Balgreen Road, Gorgie Road, Henderson Terrace and Dundee Street.

Service 30 (both directions) – between Gorgie Road and West Approach Road, buses will be diverted via Gorgie Road, Henderson Terrace and Dundee Street.

Services X27 & X28 (both directions) – between Gorgie Road and West Approach Road, buses will be diverted via Gorgie Road, Henderson Terrace and Dundee Street.

Please note that Hearts FC have a match at home against Aberdeen on Saturday 20 May (with kick-off at 12.30 hrs). We would therefore advise concert-goers to bear this in mind when travelling to BT Murrayfield and to plan ahead in advance.

Travelling by car to Edinburgh?
Please consider using a Park & Ride as there will be a number of road closures in effect around BT Murrayfield before and after the concert. Visit Traffic Scotland’s website for further information.

M-tickets
M-tickets offer you the flexibility of pre-purchasing any combination of ticket types and quantities for use on all our buses and Edinburgh Trams and loading them on your phone before you travel. Just activate your ticket as you board the bus and show your phone screen to the driver.

Cash
Cash fares are accepted on all our services. Please be aware that the exact fare is needed when paying with cash on our buses because our drivers cannot give change.

Concessionary
Under 22s and over 60s can travel for free provided they hold a valid Young Scot NEC/Scottish NEC.

Ridacard
Ridacards can be used for travel on all Lothian Buses services, NightBuses, Lothian country (city & cityWEST zones) and East Coast Buses zones A and B. 

Ridacards can also be used for travel on Edinburgh Trams in both the Airport and City Fare Zones, but must be successfully validated on one of the Platform Validators at each tram stop, prior to boarding the tram. Passengers who have not validated their Ridacard before boarding must pay the on-board fare of £10.

For security reasons, concert-goers are urged where possible not to bring bags to BT Murrayfield. Bags larger than A4 size (21cm x 30cm) will not be permitted unless required for medical or childcare reasons. Bags A4 size or smaller will be searched prior to entry into the stadium.
