Diagnose and repair defective buses.

How long have you worked for Lothian?
I’ve worked for Lothian for seven years.

Favourite part of your job?
Successfully diagnosing and repairing a vehicle that won’t start.

Most memorable moment?
Winning the Masters Skills Challenge and also winning Employee of the Year 2019!

The last year has been difficult for everyone due to the ongoing pandemic. What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve had in your current role at Lothian?
The new protocols have been difficult, especially split breaks times when the garage can be busier.

What’s a common misconception about your job?
That the diagnostic computer fixes everything. It doesn’t!

Finally, what does working for Lothian mean to you?
It means being part of a team that keeps Edinburgh moving.
