Lothian has been named a finalist in the 2020 RBS Proud Scotland Awards, Scotland’s LGBTQI+ Diversity and Inclusion Awards.

The Proud Scotland Awards celebrate the outstanding work and commitment of individuals and organisations within and supportive of the community in Scotland, honouring and encouraging all who stand up for diversity and equality.

Nominated in the Travel Company category, this award recognises companies delivering exceptional service to LGBTQ+ travellers at home or abroad, showing real commitment to supporting LGBTQ+ employees.

As official transport partner for Pride Edinburgh, Lothian is dedicated to championing diversity, equality and inclusion in our city. One of the largest employers in the capital – with more than 2,500 people working across the business – Lothian takes its responsibility as an ally to the LGBTQ+ community seriously.

Gaynor Marshall, Communications Director, Lothian: “We’re delighted to be named finalists in this year’s RBS Proud Scotland Awards in the Travel Company Award category. Lothian is one of the largest employers in Edinburgh and our ‘Pride’  bus reflects our wider commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion.”

The winners will be announced on Saturday 3 October 2020 at a ceremony streamed online via Proud Scotland Awards’ Facebook page.
