Diversion Notice – Lindsay Road and Ocean Drive

The Trams to Newhaven project will start its next phase in March 2020, with local road closures and diversions due to commence on Saturday 7th March at Lindsay Road (eastbound) and on Saturday 14th March at Ocean Drive (outside Ocean Terminal).

Lindsay Road eastbound closure:

Services 10, 16 and N16 will be diverted via Melrose Drive and North Leith Sands, with temporary stops on Melrose Drive (outside Asda) and on Lindsay Road (east of the North Leith Sands junction).

Services 11, 200, N7 and N11 will be diverted via Melrose Drive, with buses still serving the bus stops at Ocean Terminal until Ocean Drive closes (Saturday 14th March), at which point these bus stops move to Melrose Drive at the south of Ocean Terminal.

Ocean Drive closure:

Services 11, 200, N7 and N11 will continue from their diversion via Melrose Drive and use the new stops at the south of Ocean Terminal.

Services 22, 34, 35 and N22 will serve the new stops at the south of Ocean Terminal and will return to normal routes via North Leith Sands and Lindsay Road.

Service 36 will serve the new stop at the south of Ocean Terminal and will return to normal route via Ocean Drive.

*Please note that the bus stops on both sides of Ocean Drive outside the Holiday Inn will be closed.*

Leith Walk is also due to be closed northbound from late March, with full information on diversion to be released in the coming weeks. Lothian will strive to keep disruption to a minimum during this time and remain committed to providing a safe and reliable service to our customers across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
