What’s on in MayWhere can we take you this month?

May is a month of Monday holidays, cheery blossom and hopefully sunshine.

As always, there are lots of things to do and see in Edinburgh.

Here’s 5 for you to choose from:

1. Why not try something new this month, visit somehwere you haven’t been before?  The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art is home to Scotland’s collection of mordern and contemporary art.  It’s a stunning building in beautiful grounds AND admission is free!  Our Services 41 and 43 will take you there.

2. Now that the weather is better, why not hop on the bus and explore Queensferry.  See the boats at Port Edgar, take a walk along the picturesque High Street or dip your toes in the Firth of Forth.  Services 43 and 63 will take you there.

3. Michael McIntyre brings his Big World Tour Continued – Warm up Show to the Edinburgh Playhouse on 22 and 23 of May. Hop on our buses 1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14, 16, 19, 22, 25, 26, 34, 44, or 49  for guaranteed giggles.

4. Edinburgh Craft Beer Festival takes place on 24 and 25 May. Definitely the kind of event to take the bus to, you can get to the Biscuit Factory on our Service 11 or 36.

5. The Edinburgh International Children’s Festival returns from 25 May to 2 June with an exciting programme of theatre and dance for children and young people.
