With local schools off next week, we thought we would give you a few ideas of where you and your family can jump on the bus and explore
1. See the three bridges
Edinburgh Bus Tours summer season starts on 6 April and with it the return of their fantastic 3 Bridges Tour. The half day experience includes a bus tour from Waverley Bridge followed by a 75 minutes boat cruise on the Firth of Forth. Don’t forget your cameras for pictures of the puffins and seals as well as the famous Bridges.

The Edinburgh Science Festival is back for the Easter Holidays running from 6 – 21 April. Why not grab your Ridacard or purchase a Dayticket and take in a couple of the events in one day – some of them are FREE.
