World Cancer Day – Monday 4 February

91 people in Edinburgh here the words “it’s Cancer’ every week.

This not only affects them but everyone around them, their friends, family and colleagues.

That’s why today, on World Cancer Day we wanted to remind you of the work our Charity of Choice, Macmillan Cancer Support.

We have been working with the charity for the last seventeen months to raise awareness of their work and funds so they can continue to do this.

So far we have raised over £15000 for Macmillan and everyone in Edinburgh knows Hamish, our Macmillan tartan bus.

We at Macmillan are delighted to have the support of Lothian on World Cancer Day and every other day throughout our two-year partnership. Lothian staff have raised an incredible amount of money for Macmillan, and above all, they continue to spread the word of our work and how people living with cancer can receive support, when they need it most.
