Friday night saw us host our annual Lothian People awards celebrating our amazing team at the Hilton Edinburgh Carlton Hotel.
On the night, thirteen of the Lothian family’s employees were recognised for their exceptional contribution.
The annual ceremony was set up to celebrate all of Lothian’s employees who continue to go above and beyond for the business.
Sam Flynn from our Marine Garage took home three awards this year – ‘Driving Hero – Marine garage’, ‘Rising Star’ and Lothian ‘Top Employee’, while Alexander Thornton scooped ‘Driving Hero – Central’ for his garage and the coveted Lothian ‘Top Driver’ award.
Alan Black, our Head of service Delivery, who recently celebrated thirty-five years’ service took home the ‘Leader of the Year’ award and Jack Hemming’s development as an Apprentice Mechanic was recognised in the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ category.
The ‘Lothian People’s Champion’ award in association with the Edinburgh Evening News was presented to Ally Brazil, who has worked for the company for over fifteen years and is a great ambassador for Scotland’s Public Transport Operator of the Year.
