Can you believe it’s November already!

The days might be shorter and they are definitely colder but there’s still lots of reasons to get on the bus and have some fun.

 

1. Put on your lederhosen!

One for beer fans, take a trip to Oktoberfest at Murrayfield Stadium. Visit the traditional Oktoberfest tent to sample the beers and take in the with live music and great atmosphere.

2. Celebrate bonfire night

Join East Lothian Council for their annual Fireworks Display in Musselburgh on Monday 5th November 2018. Get wrapped up and purchase your bus ticket. The fireworks start at 1900.

3. Visit a film set

Take a visit to Craigmillar Castle and stand where Chris Pine did in the the film Outlaw King.  Substantial sets were built and filmed at Historic Environment Scotland’s Craigmillar Castle, which saw village of thatched cottages created in the parkland around the castle and medieval workshops appear within the castle walls.

4. Get involved in Christmas

Edinburgh’s Christmas starts on 16 November with all your favourite festive shows, rides, markets and events. Between then and the big day, why not get a bus into town and have some Christmas fun.

5. See the Giant Lanterns

The Giant Lanterns of China return to Edinburgh Zoo this winter with a host of new and exciting lanterns.  Scottish myths, ancient Chinese legends and incredible creatures come to life. Why not visit on one of our Edinburgh Zoo buses to see the 450 beautiful lanterns on display.
