Here’s our tips for getting on the buses and seeing this month
1 Caledonion Cup Raceday – Musselburgh Racecourse – 15 September
Sponsored by Caledonian Brewery, what better way to get to the races and sample the beers and have a dance at The Funkwagon than by bus.
Doors open at a 1300 with the first race taking place at 1530.

2 Edinburgh Riding of the Marches – 16 September
The Edinburgh Riding of the Marches commemorates the tradition of inspecting the city’s boundaries and re-enacts the Captain of the Trained Band’s return to the city with news of defeat at the Battle of Flodden in 1513.
The event, which returned to the City in 2009 has become hugley popular with families attracting hundreds of riders each year.
280 horses are expected to will travel down Royal Mile to the Mercat Cross, accompanied by pipe bands and the Lord Provost of Edinburgh.

4 Fly Open Air – Princes Street Gardens – 22 & 23 September
For anyone who travelled with us to Fly at Hopetoun House earlier this year, the festival is back in Princes Street Gardens this month.
See some of your favourite DJs over the two days including Jackmaster, Hunee, Peggy Gou and Kerri Chandler.
