The Cruiselink X99 provides fast, affordable connections into the heart of the Scottish capital.

Our Cruiselink X99 is extremely popular with visitors arriving by cruise ship into Queensferry, providing direct, convenient and comfortable travel to the heart of Edinburgh’s city centre.

Cruiselink X99 will operate at least every 20 minutes (more frequently for larger ships) starting with the first tender arrival and with the last bus returning to Hawes Pier 30 minutes before the last tender.

Our fast and frequent service departs from Hawes Pier (Queensferry) to the city centre, with an approximate journey time of just 30 minutes. Buses will arrive/depart in the city centre at the east end of George Street, just outside the Hard Rock Cafe.

Tickets can be purchased directly from your bus driver. Cash and contactless payments are accepted (‘chip & pin’ will be available at Hawes Pier)
