A Lothian driver is undertaking a charity abseil later this month on the iconic Forth Bridge in aid of a mental health charity.
Bryan Millar, a driver based at Lothian’s Central depot in Annandale Street, has plucked up the courage to abseil the 110m down the Forth Bridge on Sunday 16 June in support of Health in Mind, a charity working to promote positive mental health and wellbeing in local communities across Scotland.
It won’t be an easy feat for Bryan, who told us he has a fear of heights, but it’s something he feels is worth the challenge. “I’m doing it to try and overcome my fear of heights as well as helping a good cause. I’ve suffered from mental health issues for years and feel a lot of us suffer in silence.”
If you’d like to support Bryan in his fundraising efforts, visit his JustGiving page to make a donation.
Good luck, Bryan, from all of #TeamLothian!
