Our Cruiselink X99 is extremely popular with visitors arriving by cruise ship at Queensferry, providing direct, convenient and comfortable travel into the heart of Edinburgh’s city centre.
Our fast and frequent service departs from Hawes Pier (Queensferry) to the city centre, where a range of shopping, sightseeing and dining experiences are available.
2024 Timetables
Timetables for individual cruise ship arrivals will be available early in 2024. Cruiselink X99 will operate at least every 20 minutes (more frequent for larger ships) starting with the first tender arrival and with the last bus returning to Hawes Pier 30 minutes before the last tender.
Make the most of your time in the city by downloading our mobile app or using our online Journey Planner. Track buses, see what stops services call at, and more… It’s the best way to navigate your way across Edinburgh and the Lothian.
