Brick City – The Backstage TourLook out for LEGO® versions of our buses in this years Edinburgh Festival Fringe

Miniature recreations of our buses are set to be the star attraction in a unique exhibition at this year’s Edinburgh Fesival Fringe.

Brick City – The Backstage Tour’ will see one of the UK’s leading LEGO® builders, Warren Elsmore, open up his Edinburgh studio to the public from 4-28 August.

Warren Elsmore said:

The Backstage Tour will give people the chance to see how a firm of master builders work and some of our favourite models, especially the ones that are too fragile to lend out.

Lothian are so much part of Edinburgh that it seemed obvious to include them in our displays and I’m excited to see how people react to seeing them for the first time.

Gaynor Marshall, Communications Director of Lothian added:

Lothian is part of the fabric of the city and we’re absolutely delighted that some of our vehicles are to be represented in this exhibition. Warren’s attention to detail is incredible and these models are sure to be a huge hit with our customers, as well as bus and LEGO® enthusiasts of all ages.

The event is sponsored by Scottish Historic Buildings Trust. The charity secures the future of under-used historic buildings across Scotland by expertly restoring them for the nation and finding new uses that can regenerate local communities and the historic environment.

A new bus from the Lothian family will be added to the exhibition every few days starting with our latest madder Lothian design.

We will be giving away three family tickets to the show plus travel in a twitter competition. All you need to do is guess which of our buses will appear in the exhibition next – Edinburgh Bus Tours, East Coast Buses or Airlink.
