Next week (10 – 11 July) we will be taking part in Midlothian Council’s ‘Try-a-Bus’ Days.

These events have been set up to give disabled people and those not familiar with our buses the chance to try getting on and off our buses in a safe and comfortable environment.

Some people are too nervous to use a bus for the first time when it is a ‘live’ service with real passengers – they fear the stress and humiliation of making a mess of getting into the wheelchair space and holding everyone else up. Try-A-Bus day gives them an opportunity to practice within a relaxed atmosphere and will hopefully give them the confidence to use buses in service in the future.

We will also have information on our service changes from 14 July so if you have any questions or feedback please come along.

On Wednesday 10 July we will be at South Street in Dalkeith 1000 – 1400
On Thursday 11 July we will be Straiton Retail Park (opposite Frankie & Benny’s on the Upper Level)
