Connect Music Festival returns to Edinburgh on 25-27 August 2023 at the Royal Highland Centre, and Lothian’s Special Service 98 will be standing by to take you to and from all the fun, hassle-free!

Visitors will enjoy incredible music from a range of bands and musicians including Primal Scream, Franz Ferdinand, and boygenius. Check out the full line-up on the Connect Music Festival website.

With regular departures across the weekend, connecting the city centre with the Royal Highland Centre, festival-goers can take the stress out of travel by hopping on our Special Service 98. See below for departure times and tickets.

Our Service 98 will depart from George Street East End (Stop GL) and serve stops at Shandwick Place (stop SD), Haymarket Station (stop HH) and then all stops along the A8 to the Maybury such as Roseburn, Murrayfield, Edinburgh Zoo and Corstorphine.

Please note that on the Saturday of the festival, a rugby fixture will be taking place at Scottish Gas Murrayfield at 1730 hrs which will result in congestion, and may cause delays to our Service 98. If you’re planning on heading to Connect around this time, please allow extra time to make your journey so you don’t miss out on any of the acts!
