
We will be operating additional late evening services on East Coast Buses’ Services 120, 121 and 124 to support travel to and from Fringe by the Sea in North Berwick on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Running from 1 – 10 August, the annual festival brings incredible artists and performers to North Berwick for 10 days of comedy, music, literature and food and drink, with something for all ages!
This year’s line up includes An Evening with Ruby Wax, Joe Wicks: In Conversation, Comedy Club with Alan Davies, The Boomtown Rats and more.

Services and Timetables
Service 120 operates between Dunbar and North Berwick via East Linton, Tyningham and Tantallon Castle. Monday to Saturday, the service operates every 60 minutes, and on Sundays runs every 2 hours.
An extra service will be provided on Friday and Saturday evenings at 22:20 from Dunbar, and from North Berwick (Seabird Centre) at 23:20.
Service 121 operates every 90 minutes Monday to Saturday between Haddington and North Berwick via Athelstansford and Drem. On Sundays, the service runs every 2 hours.
Extra services will be provided on Friday and Saturday evenings as follows:
- 20:15 from Haddington to North Berwick
- 21:15 from North Berwick (Church Road) to Haddington
- 22:15 from Haddington to North Berwick
- 23:15 from North Berwick (Church Road) to Haddington

Edinburgh Express to North Berwick, operating hourly Monday to Saturday.

Edinburgh to North Berwick, operating up to every 30 minutes Monday to Sunday during the day and hourly in the evening.
An additional service will operate at 23:10 from North Berwick Tesco (23:18 at Church Road). This service normally terminates at Musselburgh but will continue to Edinburgh (Waterloo Place).

Planning on catching a late show? The N124 provides night-time connections to Edinburgh city centre with a service departing North Berwick (Lochbridge Road) at 02:01 on Saturdays and Sundays.
