
A staple of the music festival calendar in Edinburgh since 2018 featuring acts such as Florence & the Machine, Tom Jones, The Courteeners and many more, Edinburgh Summer Sessions will take place in the city’s Royal Highland Showgrounds from 15 – 25 August 2024 and Lothian’s Service 98 will be standing by to take you to all the action.
We expect that buses will be busy, so please plan ahead and allow yourself enough time to complete your journey to the venue.
Ocean Colour Scene (Saturday 17 August)

Ocean Colour Scene’s rip-roaring live shows have long been one of the most extraordinary sights in modern rock – communal outpourings of hope and joy which boast the most life-affirming sing-a-longs you’ll ever hear. Ocean Colour Scene remain one of the most successful -and most loved- bands of the modern era.
Lothian’s Service 98 will depart from the east end of George Street (stop GL), and will serve stop SD at Shandwick Place, stop HH at Haymarket Station, and all stops along the A8 between Haymarket and Maybury with a total journey time of approximately 30 minutes.
Passengers will be dropped off and picked up outside the north entrance of the Royal Highland Centre.
From city centre (George Street): 13:30, 13:50, 14:10, 14:30, 14:50, 15:10, 15:30, 15:45, 16:00, 16:30, 16:45, 17:00, 17:30, then every 10 minutes until 18:30, 18:45, 19:00, 19:15, and 19:30
From Royal Highland Centre (north entrance): 21:00, 21:20, 21:40, 22:00, 22:15, 22:30 then frequent departures after the concert ends.
