Passengers leave items behind on our buses almost every hour of every day. There are the obvious things such as umbrellas and gloves, but there are also thing you wouldn’t believe such as hoovers, buggies, scooters and even crutches!

With only 65% of these items ever claimed, we set up a partnership with Cancer Research UK last year to donate these unclaimed items to the charity to sell in their shop to raise money to help put a stop to cancer.

Twelve months on, hundreds of items have been collected from our Lost Property Office in Hanover Street by Cancer Research to stock the charity’s shop at Corstorphine helping to raise thousands of pounds for the charity.
