Tomorrow’s People was set up to help disadvantaged adults and young people helping them to find employment.
The Charity’s vision is to break the cycle of unemployment and dependency in deprived communities by transforming the lives of young adults and ‘re-skilling’ long-term unemployed people allowing them to find and keep a job.
It’s annual awards recognise the achievements of young people who have achieved despite their disadvantaged start.
Lothian Buses has supported these awards for the last four years by giving the winner of the Young Achiever of the Year, Edinburgh Award a year’s free Ridacard.
This years winner is Connor Davidson.
He was chosen for his motivation, positive attitude and his skills and commitment as a volunteer at ‘Working it Out’, Tomorrow’s People’s flagship youth programme.
