Since 2017, Lothian has championed the causes of a number of charities close to our colleagues’ hearts through our Charity of Choice initiative.
Every year, Lothian welcomes applications from charitable causes to serve as the focus of the company’s fundraising efforts, to amplify their messages, and raise awareness across our colleagues and customers. Following a shortlisting process led by the Charity of Choice committee, the final decision is then passed to Lothian’s 2,500+ strong workforce who take a final vote on who will be named the company’s Charity of Choice.
Lothian’s current Charity of Choice is VOCAL – Voice of Carers Across Lothian. VOCAL supports over 10,000 unpaid carers per year, in all caring situations and relationships. The charity was announced as Lothian’s new Charity of Choice partner earlier in the year following a staff vote. The partnership will run throughout 2023 and 2024.
