PARK-AND-RIDE-HEADER
Choose Park & Ride and take the bus - it's good for the environment, you can relax and let someone else do the driving, and it saves finding and paying for parking in the City Centre!

Edinburgh's main Park & Ride sites are served by Lothian Buses and are situated on key routes
into the City Centre and offer:

 
  All Park & Ride Buses are low floor easy access. easy-access  
 
  • free parking
  • secure CCTV surveillance
  • regular bus services on bus only Greenways to help speed up journey times to the City Centre

Ingliston, Hermiston, Straiton and Sheriffhall also offer:

  • extra morning and afternoon peak time buses on Monday to Friday
  • staffed terminal buildings offering information and ticket sales

Buy your ticket from staffed terminal buildings (where available – change can be given) or from your bus driver (please have exact fare ready as our drivers cannot give change).

All normal Lothian Buses fares, DAYtickets and RIDACARDs are valid on Park & Ride buses*.

INGLISTON PARK & RIDE (EH28 8LS)
Just off the A8/Airport junction and served daily by the branded express 48 & X48 running at least every 10 minutes at peak times direct to Edinburgh City Centre, and 35 serving Edinburgh Park, Sighthill, Chesser and via Edinburgh's Old Town to Ocean Terminal.

• The staffed terminal building, where you can wait in comfort and pick up information leaflets is open daily 0730-1830.

 hermiston

HERMISTON PARK & RIDE (EH14 5PX)
On the A71 just west of the A720 City by-pass junction and served daily by buses 25 and 34, on Monday to Friday peak times by limited stop X25 and bus 45, and overnight by Night Buses N25. On Monday to Friday at peak times there's a bus every 5 minutes to Edinburgh City Centre.

• The staffed terminal building, where you can wait in comfort and pick up information leaflets is open Monday to Friday 0730 – 1830,  Saturday & Sunday CLOSED.

 sheriffhall

SHERIFFHALL PARK & RIDE (EH22 1FF)
Located on the A7 just north of the City by-pass/Sheriffhall junction near Danderhall and served daily by buses 48, X48 and 49. On Monday to Friday at peak times there are 10 buses an hour.

• The staffed terminal building, where you can wait in comfort and pick up information leaflets is open Monday to Friday 0645-1000 then 1530-1900, Saturday & Sunday CLOSED.

 straiton

STRAITON PARK & RIDE (EH20 9NW)
Located on the A701 opposite Straiton Retail Park, and just south of the A720 City By-pass and served daily by bus 47, and on Monday to Friday by buses X47 & 67. On Monday to Friday at peak times, there are up to 10 buses an hour.

• The staffed terminal building, where you can wait in comfort and pick up information leaflets is open Monday to Friday 0645-1000 then 1530-1900, Saturday & Sunday CLOSED.

 wallyford

WALLYFORD PARK & RIDE (EH21 8JX)
Wallyford Park & Ride site is handy for both bus and train (Wallyford Railway Station is just next door). It is situated off the A199 next to Wallyford. Buses 44/44A serve Park & Ride daily, with buses every 10 minutes at peak times and during the day on Monday to Saturdays to Musselburgh & Edinburgh City Centre.

• There is no terminal building at Wallyford, however bus tickets can be bought from your bus driver.

Coach Parking
Edinburgh's Park & Ride facilities at Hermiston and Ingliston have a limited capacity for visiting coaches.
For enquiries, coach operators should contact 0131 555 6363.
