Bus Diversions starting 1 March 2008 for 8 weeks – superceded from 26 April 2008 by West End Diversions

In order to prepare the ground for Edinburgh Trams, work will begin on Shandwick Place from Saturday 1 March 2008 for 8 weeks to move major utilities (water, gas and electricity) away from the route of the forthcoming tram tracks.

This means that all traffic currently using Shandwick Place will be diverted. This page details the bus diversion routes and shows the special bus stops that will be in use for the duration of the tram works at the West End of Edinburgh City Centre. Click here to download a pdf version.

Details of the diverted routes will be shown at each affected bus stop and these will be updated if any changes are made. Click here to view map.
