Look out for the NEW on-street ticket machines we've installed at bus stops in and around the City Centre. They allow you to buy a bus ticket before you board your bus - this helps to reduce the amount of time a bus spends picking up travellers at bus stops and therefore helps to speed up your journey!
What tickets can I buy?

DAY ticket Unlimited travel for one day on Lothian Buses.
                        Show ticket to driver each time you board.

SINGLE ticket Ticket for one journey on Lothian Buses.
                                Board bus BEFORE time shown on ticket. (40 minutes after issue).
                                Hand ticket to driver, who will punch your ticket
                                and return it to you.

Button  4   Child SINGLE 60p
Coins accepted    5p   10p   20p   50p    £1    £2

The tickets issued by these on-street ticket machines are not valid on Airlink,
Night Buses or other bus companies. Child tickets for ages 5-15; proof of age may
